Get your clipboards out ladies and gentleman.
We have our Week 12 Value Buys ready for you to evaluate as you finalize your fantasy lineup.
These are players that will likely put up good numbers, and won’t cost you a ton against your cap, and finding these type of guys is huge if you want to land one of the top dogs.
Quarterbacks
Clint Moseley, Auburn vs. Samford (155k)
Moseley gets to play against a non-FBS school in Samford, in a game that Auburn really has no business playing in.
Regardless, Moseley has four touchdowns against a poor Ole Miss team in Week 10, and expecting a solid game this week isn’t out of the question.
Brock Osweiler, Arizona State vs. Arizona (214k)
Let’s face it, Arizona’s defense is absolutely terrible. Osweiler and Arizona State are playing in a rivalry game with something to prove.
Look for him to have a pretty productive game for the Sun Devils.
Runningbacks
Roy Finch, Oklahoma @ Baylor (165k)
Finch is a legit running back, filling in for the injured Dominique Whaley.
A lot of people felt that Finch should have been the starter from Day 1, but now he gets his chance with Whaley done for the season.
He can catch out of the backfield and is a hard runner with a very favorable match-up.
LaMichael James, Oregon vs. USC (217k)
Is this a joke? James will likely have a huge day, and he will put up 25-30 points while costing you just 217k.
USC’s defense is okay, but it’s no better against the run than Stanford’s was.
James and Oregon should have another field day.
Wide Receivers
Emory Blake, Auburn vs. Samford (103k)
Blake has looked good since his return from missing a few weeks with injury.
He gets a very favorable match-up in Samford which will only take one or two big passes for him to score big time fantasy points.
Blake can stretch the field, and should be a fine start for 103k.
Kendall Wright, Baylor vs. Oklahoma (119k)
Wright has been the leading Baylor receiver all season, and for good reason.
He’s been making big time plays, and has been a true stud, raising his fantasy football value, as well as draft stock.
But an ankle injury has kept him from putting up big numbers. Look for that to change this week.
Tight Ends
Michael Egnew, Missouri vs. Texas Tech (65k)
We know that Texas Tech has quite a poor defense, and while James Franklin isn’t known for his arm and gunslinging ability, he could still find Egnew a few times.
Dwayne Allen, Clemson @ North Carolina State (66k)
Allen will be involved a bit on Saturday against the Wolfpack.
NC State is quite terrible defensively, and Clemson’s offense should roll, with Allen seeing a few targets, including one or two in the red zone.
Defenses
Michigan State Defense vs. Indiana (74k)
Michigan State’s defense is still top notch, and while Indiana has surprised some teams with the play of Tre Roberson and company, you have to think that Michigan State is going to lay down the hammer.
Look for Indiana to stay under 13 points.
Florida Defense vs. Furman (78k)
This is quite simple.
If an SEC defense gives up points against Furman, or can’t create turnovers and sacks, then they may think about switching out of the FBS.
