New $15,000 MLB Super Joust Survivor Week

The MLB Super Joust is a $15,000 Super Joust version of the King Richard 50/50 Survivor Tournament format.
MLB Super Joust Survivor Week 2012 will run Sept 18 thru Sept 24.

Winner takes home $3825 cash, and 2 tickets to a 2012 World Series Game (up to maximum value of $2000) or $1000 additional cash instead of the 2 tickets.

Many jousters will qualify multiple team entries in the Super Joust! Will you?


$15,000 Prize Structure for the MLB Super Joust Survivor Week Tourney
Total prize pool is $13,000 cash plus two tickets valued at up to $2000 to a 2012 MLB World Series Game. If the winner prefers, a $1000 additional cash prize can be substituted for the $2000 World Series tickets. Winners win prizes each day they survive in the Super Joust Survivor Week and the ultimate first place winner will take home $3825 plus the $2000 World Series tickets !

Who can enter the MLB Super Joust Survivor Week Tournament?

User Qualifications – qualifications are for results between Tuesday April 17th and Saturday September 15th, 2012. Results of free-entry contests are not considered for qualification. Weekly periods will be Monday evening to the following Monday morning each week, except the last week will be from Monday Sept 10th to Saturday Sept 15th.

7. Top 25 Jousters with the most Daily Joust Badges earned between April 17th & Sept 15th

Badges earned before April 17th will be categorized as archival badges and will not count toward the Top 25 Jousters with the most badges. All badges can be re-earned starting April 17th. SuperJoust badges earned after April 17th will be displayed on the Leaderboards.

Users who qualify in multiple ways will get to enter the same number of teams as the number of ways that they qualify – up to a maximum of 5 team entries in the Super Joust. For example, if a user wins the $1000 King James MLB Tournament twice, they will get 2 entries in the Super Joust !

How is the Winner Determined for the Super Joust Survivor Week Tournament?

Only those Jousters that have won in the previous day’s Super Joust 50/50 contest are eligible to survive and play the next day/round. If a qualified Jouster fails to enter the designated Super Joust 50/50 contest on a given day during the tournament, they will be considered eliminated from the Super Joust Survivor Week Tournament. It is the Jouster’s responsibility to enter teams in a timely fashion when they are eligible to do so, whether or not they receive any notification regarding eligibility from Daily Joust.

In the unlikely event of a tie (after application of normal Daily Joust tie breaking rules) for the win in all but the final round and the right to advance in the tournament, those that tie for the lowest score that is eligible for a win slot will split the proceeds for the win and will advance to the next day’s 50/50 contest of the tournament, though the number of Jousters who advance from that subsequent contest will not change.

In the unlikely event of a tie (after application of normal Daily Joust tie breaking rules) for the win in the final round, the winner will be determined by the highest total number of points scored by that Jouster’s tournament lineups from the beginning of the MLB Super Joust Survivor Week tournament.
