Whether you won or lost yesterday, let’s all hope for good things in the future for Toronto Blue Jays pitcher J.A. Happ.  Happ took a liner to the head off the bat of Desmond Jennings in yesterday’s game and had to be taken to the hospital.  I hope to see him back soon and as miniscule as it is, I’m starting him the day he comes back.  Don’t care who the Jays play — I mean it! Get will soon J.A.

You know who I’m not playing any time soon here on Daily Joust? Dp47.  Lock your doors, because that’s a bad man folks.  He has picked up three seats to Super Joust VI since Monday, including two outright wins in MEGA qualifiers.  We all know his reputation in the daily fantasy community, and frankly I slept a little better each night he decided to take his expertise elsewhere.  If he starts loitering around Daily Joust full-time, I might as well fill out the donation sheet and hope for the tax write off.  He’s that good.

As for the 10-man qualifier Tuesday, familiar Jouster superbowlhomboy grabbed another seat, even with a lower score of 54.  Nice to see Dp47 letting us mortals have a contest or two.  All jokes aside, SBHB (you’ve earned this abbreviation buddy…but your name is still too long) is a formidable opponent and is one of the leaders on the whole site in Super Joust seats.  He clearly wants to be stacked with entries come July.

All in all, if you trotted out Matt Harvey against the White Sox, you probably did well yesterday.  He pitched a complete game no-decision with 12 K’s.  As it was, not too many stacks were profitable last night so you basically could have started Harvey with Sri Lanka’s lineup in the World Baseball Classic and logged off happy.  I know we have some anti-stackers out there so this was your day folks.

Two more qualifiers on the docket for Wednesday, including the $2 stalwart and the $11 ten-seater.  You really have to get in that $11 one quick, it’s not one for last-minute lineup setters.  If you’re going to be like me and pretend Dp47 doesn’t exist for a few days, you can always take on mobydickler and DailyLeaguer.  It definitely was one for the good guys yesterday, at least as far as mobydickler was concerned.  Beat any of them in head-to-head match ups and you get seats to an upcoming SJ free roll qualifier.  July and the $50,000 Super Joust will be here in no time.  Until next time, Jousters!

Friday was a big time day at Daily Joust as a total of 11 seats were given away in various tournaments and free rolls.  Four seats to Super Joust VI were given in the Rotowire Challenge Free Roll, where Jousters were given SJ VI seats for beating Chris Liss and Jeff Erickson of Rotowire fame in an earlier tournament.  Since the Rotowire challenge ended up being a 255 seat tournament,  it means just what I am implying: Rotowire got their ass kicked by Jousters.  How else did they think it was going to go down? You challenge players of a site named Daily Joust, to a duel? Sorry, Rotowounded wire. Congrats to ron2522, dynasyempire, SouthpawJB and evers11 who earned the seats to SJ VI and bragging rights over our defeated friends at Rotowire.

Speaking of challenges, the Beat mobydickler Free Roll also went down on Friday, with five more seats to SJ VI as the prize.  Jousters had the full month of April to play Ahab and earn seats to this tournament and we had some familiar faces as winners.  Jayis55, ericleggs7, DailyLeaguer, Dinkpiece and Duffyrules were the whale slayers in this one.  Definitely some big dogs in that list, including two of Joust’s big time money earners and a full-time fantasy sports player.  Yikes.  Wouldn’t surprise me at all to see some of those same names in Super Joust VI.

The more familiar qualifiers also ran Friday, with Super Joust seat collectors jfunk99 and superbowlhomboy adding to their collections to the tournament by besting a 93 and 99 entry tournament.  Those guys always have multiple entries in these $1 and $2 qualifiers and it really is the best way to get seats.  Will both of them have earned the max of 25 entries in July’s big dance? We’ll see!

Friday was the biggest seat giveaway so far in the baseball season, and since mobydickler was so generous to give up those seats to Super Joust, Daily Joust has renewed the promotion for the month of May! DailyLeaguer doesn’t mind a spear in the back either, so we can beat him up too! So, how about that A’s/Angels game right? Longest game in either teams history.  There is already one documented instance in chat I saw that claimed the Moss homer cost someone a good amount of money.  Tough break at 2 a.m. PST.

Yesterday was that kind of day, a lighter scoring day but one with wacky outcomes.  Be honest now, who had the Astros stack against NYY? Ubaldo shutting out KC? Skip Schumaker pitching for the Dodgers? Disappointing starts from Harvey, Strasburg, and Samardzija sure didn’t help but if you managed to load up on Brewers and Rockies, chances are you had a good day.

And speaking of wacky, we’ve reached a all-time first in the blog: A chance to talk about my team in a Super Joust event.  That’s right, yours truly Jamez31 put up a score of 89 in the 10-man SJ VI qualifer last night to earn his Daily Joust-leading sixth seat into the big tournament.  Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while, right? That and praying.

In the much larger $2 qualifier, our good friend, buddy and Pal took home first place, riding all Brewers and former Brewer Prince Fielder all the way to the bank.  Over half his offense hit homers, and only two slots on his team wasn’t in double-digits in scoring.

If you missed your shot last night, Daily Joust is bringing out the big guns, busting out the MEGA qualifier today. It’s a $25 multiple entry, full cash prize tournament so if you love the popular Camelot and an increased shot (top five earn seats!) in getting into Super Joust, this is definitely the tournament for you.  Get in those multiple entries and if you’re like me…pray for the best!

Friday is always my favorite day to Joust, because it is the home of the MEGA qualifier for Super Joust VI.  This tournament sends FIVE entries to July in one shot.  Yesterday, it was Jousters UNCLELEO, Al Smizzle, Mjl4sam, REVLIS, Kazmierz21 all qualifying for SJ, and taking home cash prizes to go along with it.  There are some familiar names in that group, but I want to point out the success of UNCLELEO has had throughout the month of April.  He’s already won a few tournaments (including the first prize in this qualifier) and has not been afraid to play for big money.  It looks like he has been riding the right stacks so far, as he has been the owner of some pretty big scores so far in his first month of playing.

Speaking of big scores, Jousters didn’t necessarily need to stack to put up the big time points yesterday.  There were several 20 point pitchers yesterday, including Jake Peavy, Lance Lynn, and Ryan Dempster.  Heck, Anibal Sanchez struck out 17 Braves and even Kyle Kendrick had 35 fantasy points! I will have always have fond memories of stacking against Kendrick, but hey, I have no problem with these kind of pitcher points for the other side.  Sniff, it’s still tough seeing these guys grow up.

The hitters also joined the party, as Jousters got two jacks from Anthony Rizzo, Carlos Beltran and David Ross.  Yea, Cody’s brother.  You think the Ross family raised their kids on only terrorizing left handers or what? Papa Ross probably controlled them in Little League.  “What’s this? A right handed pitcher? Let’s go boys, we’re out of here! I know it’s the second inning damnit!” Cody was a must play against lefties in Boston last year and his brother might hold some similar value from the catchers spot.  He was a $50k cheapie yesterday.

Saturday doesn’t feature the MEGA qualifier but it’s a day loaded with games with early and late start times.  You could always try your hand at the standard $2 qualifier, which rrohit won by eclipsing triple digits.  Either way, have fun and pray for sun!

That’s right, Jimmer’s back for MLB baby.  Don’t be scared now, just let it happen.  Yes, I know we are about three weeks into the season and this is my first recap blog, but I’m happy to report that my holdout is over and I’m ready to work.  There was a slight issue of the amount of guaranteed money in my contract but it’s all behind us now.  Psh, no guaranteed moolah? Who do they think I am, Darrelle Revis? Ain’t nobody got time for that!  Anyway, good to be back hanging with Jousters.

We had a couple of Super Joust VI qualifiers yesterday, and congratulations goes out to thedexican and ericleggs7 on their seats to the big one in July.  Oh, you haven’t heard? There is $50,000 in guaranteed prize money in SJ VI and first place gets $20,000 of cold-hard, red-blooded, American…gift cards to Starbucks!  What? Alright alright, we’ll give you the cash.  Whatever.  So picky, greedy punks.

Speaking of the SJ VI qualifiers, I know you saw ericleggs7 swoop the victory from the almighty mobydickler by one point in the night games last night.  You know how everybody and their step-dad’s distant cousin had Felix Hernandez yesterday? Well ericleggs7 said “screw it, watch me roll out Ryan freakin’ Vogelsong in this SOB”.  Well, turns out, Vogelsong dropped seven points compared to Felix the Cat’s 28.  Wait, that’s Felix’s nickname right? (Please hold, quick fact check…yup, Felix the Cat.  We’re good.)  The money he saved allowed him to get bigger offense, notably Buster Posey, who’s homer tied the game for the Giants and helped seal the dubya for Eric.

Ryan Braun stayed hot again last night in his game against the Padres, adding on dinger of his own against Jason Marquis.  Braun isn’t doing much but hitting jacks lately, but hey, all we need is one.  Is it just me or is Braun like, the scariest dude to pitch to? Not just because he’s pretty damn good but every time he is up the cameras zoom in on Braun’s bug eyes glaring at the pitcher like he just got told Santa Claus wasn’t real or something.  Pretty scary stuff.  Turn that frown upside down buddy.

I must avenge my goldfish’s death!

And as long as we are talking about frowns, got to mention the post-poned Braves-Rockies game and the 6:35 EST start time to the A’s-Red Sox game that had everyone out of routine to start the day.  Taking away our stacks AND pushing up our normally scheduled lineup cramming sessions? Watch your back, MLB.  (Yea, I knew the Marlins-Twins game was postponed too and meant to include it up there, but I’m just gonna go on with my life.)

Overall, not too painful of a Monday on Daily Joust.  Jose Bautista and Mike Trout were popular plays and sucked it up but Josh Hamilton and Jay Bruce both found out how to get hits again, which hopefully ends the streak of “most days taking a player without finally taking up base jumping”.    Most importantly, we knew of the postponements early and late lineup scratches were few.  All that we can ask for.

Keep hitting those Super Joust VI qualifiers, they are running every day in all different formats.  If blogging and not having an entry in NBA SJ V taught me anything, it’s that I don’t ever want to feel left out again.  So get with the program! See you out there Jousters.

Chicago Bulls

Bulls SF Jimmy Butler ($128K) was giant Thursday against the Knicks, posting 22 points with 14 rebounds, three streals, three blocked shots and two assists in 50 minutes. He finished with 50 fantasy points, and he has 20 or more fantasy points in each of his past seven games. Raptors C Jonas Valanciunas ($108K) (neck) is a game-time decision for this game. If he cannot go, PF/C Andrea Bargnani ($88K), PF Amir Johnson ($102K) and C Aaron Gray ($55K) might pick up more minutes if Valanciunas sits.

Philadelphia 76ers at Washington Wizards 7:00pm ET

Wizards PF/C Nene Hilario ($100K) has posted 12 or more fantasy points in each of his past six games played, including 21 fantasy points in his last outing against Miami. He is a solid mid-level play at this price. Wizards PG A.J. Price ($81K) has been hot lately, posting 26 fantasy points last time out against the Heat. He has 14 or more fantasy points in each of his past four games, filling in admirably for the injured SG Bradley Beal ($96K) (wrist). SG/PG Garrett Temple ($61K) also has 12 or more fantasy points in each of his past four games. 76ers swingman Damien Wilkins ($84K) has cooled since his play last week, hitting just four of his past 22 field goal attempts over the past three games, averaging just 11.3 fantasy points per game during the span.

Brooklyn Nets at Indiana Pacers 7:00pm ET

Pacers SG Lance Stephenson ($89K) totaled 13 fantasy points in two games from April 5-6, but he went for 28 fantasy points Tuesday against Cleveland. He has been a little erratic lately, so it might be best to avoid him given so many other options. Nets C Brook Lopez ($160K) has managed 24 or more fantasy points in each of his past six games. He has at least two blocked shots in each of the outings.

Milwaukee Bucks at Atlanta Hawks 7:30pm ET

Bucks PF/C Larry Sanders ($129K) disappeared in his last game against Orlando Wednesday, misfiring on seven of his nine field goal attempts in 15 minutes. However, he had 34 fantasy points in the last meeting with Atlanta March 24, and is a strong fantasy option. Hawks PG Jeff Teague ($130K) has managed 22 or more fantasy points in four of his past five games, and he posted 23 fantasy points in the last meeting with the Bucks. Hawks PF Mike Scott ($105K) has totaled 52 fantasy points over his past two games.

Boston Celtics at Miami Heat 7:30pm ET (NBATV)

Celtics PF Shavlik Randolph ($72K) is averaging 17.0 fantasy points per game over his past three games, making him a surprise play at this price level. Heat SG Dwyane Wade ($156K) (ankle) plans to return to the lineup for Friday’s game. Still, he might have some rust to knock off, and he should be avoided until he can prove his health in one full game without any ill-effects. Celtics swingman Paul Pierce ($151K) has 49 total fantasy points over his past two games, and at least 23 fantasy points in each of his past eight.

Charlotte Bobcats at Detroit Pistons 7:30pm ET

Pistons tookie PF/C Andre Drummond ($115K) hit 10 of his 11 field goal attempts Wednesday against Cleveland, finishing with 29 pointsin 11 rebounds and an assist for 41 fantasy points. He should have another solid showing against the defensively lax Bobcats. Bobcats PF/C Josh McRoberts ($101K) has managed 18 or more fantasy points in seven of his past eight games, and he had a respectable 17 fantasy points March 23 in the last meeting with Detroit.

New York Knicks at Cleveland Cavaliers 7:30pm ET

Knicks PF/SF Carmelo Anthony ($227K) has been unbelievable lately, and his hot play continues Thursday in Chicago. ‘Melo finished with 36 points, 19 rebounds, two assists and a blocked shot, giving him 57 fantasy points in 45 minutes. He has 50 or more fantasy points in four straight games, and 38 fantasy points in 10 of the past 11. SG Dion Waiters ($97K) (knee) might return to the starting lineup Friday, but he is expected to have a minutes cap when he does play.

Los Angeles Clippers at New Orleans Hornets 8:00pm ET

Clippers PF/C DeAndre Jordan ($97K) continues to shoot the ball well lately, and he is averaging 25.3 fantasy points per game over his past three games. PG Chris Paul ($171K) has 36 or more fantasy points in three straight games, and 31 or more fantasy points in nine of the past 10 games. Despite the fact the Clips have already clinched their division, it appears CP3 won’t play with a minutes cap, at least for now. Hornets C Robin Lopez ($100K) should see a lot more responsibility with PF/C Anthony Davis ($149K) (knee) out for the season with a knee sprain.

Memphis Grizzlies at Houston Rockets 8:00pm ET

Grizzlies PG Mike Conley Jr. ($144K) has gone for 24 or more fantasy points in each of his past 10 outings, including 35 fantasy points in the last meeting with the Rockets March 29. Swingman Tony Allen ($95K) has been up and down lately, and if you believe in trends, he should have a solid stat line in this one. He had 21 fantasy points in the last meeting with Houston. Rockets PG Patrick Beverley ($69K) has averaged 17.7 fantasy points per game over his past three outings.

Denver Nuggets at Dallas Mavericks 8:30pm ET

Mavericks PF Dirk Nowitzki ($130K) has managed 24 or more fantasy points in nine of his past 10 games. He had 24 fantasy points in the last meeting with the Nuggets April 4. SG Vince Carter ($101K) is a nice mid-level fantasy option. He has 24 or more fantasy points in three of the past four games, including 25 fantasy points in the last meeting with Denver. Nuggets PF Kenneth Faried ($122K) is averaging 28.0 fantasy points per game over his past four, making him a nice buy at this price level.

Sacramento Kings at San Antonio Spurs 8:30pm ET

Spurs PG Tony Parker ($137K) (neck) told the San Antonio Express-News that he plans to play in this one. Still, he is a risky play until he can play and prove his health in one full game. Kings PF/C Jason Thompson ($123K) has 34 or more fantasy points in three of his past four games, sandwiching a dismal six-point fantasy effort Sunday against Memphis. Spurs C Tiago Splitter ($94K) is averaging 14.3 fantasy points per game over his past three.

Minnesota Timberwolves at Utah Jazz 9:00pm ET

Timberwolves C Nikola Pekovic ($148K) has 24 or more fantasy points in five of his past six games since returning from an ankle injury. PG Ricky Rubio ($133K) (shoulder) dinged his shoulder Saturday against Detroit. While he continues to play through the injury, he has hit just two of his 18 field goal attempts over the past two games, posting 16 fantasy points in each outing. Jazz PF Derrick Favors ($119K) has 24 or more fantasy points in each of his past three games, and eight of his past nine.

Oklahoma City Thunder at Portland Trail Blazers 10:00pm ET (NBATV)

Thunder SF Kevin Durant ($208K) has gone for 41 or more fantasy points in each of his past seven games. He went for 31 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists in 34 minutes Thursday at Golden State for a total of 50 fantasy points. Trail Blazers PG Eric Maynor ($64K) has 15 fantasy points in each of his past two games. PF/SF Victor Claver ($57K) is averaging 14.0 fantasy points per game over his past three outings.

Golden State Warriors at Los Angeles Lakers 10:30pm ET

Lakers SG Kobe Bryant ($223K) was ridiculous last time out, going for 47 points with eight rebounds, four blocked shots, five assists and three steals. He managed 73 fantasy points in 48 minutes in Portland. Warriors swingman Klay Thompson ($133K) struggled with his shot Thursday, hitting just two of his 10 field goal attempts. He managed just nine fantasy points in 31 minutes. Avoid until he can get untracked. C Andrew Bogut ($90K) was scoreless in just nine minutes, misfiring on all three of his field goal attempts. He aggravated his ankle, and has already been ruled out for Friday. As such, SF Harrison Barnes ($84K) and SF Draymond Green ($55K) figure to get more of a piece of the pie.

Boston Bruins at New York Islanders 7:00pm ET

The Islanders have won just five of the past 22 meetings with the Bruins, and New York is just 2-10 in their past 12 trips to Boston. As such, the Bruins TG ($268K) is an expensive, but extremely safe play given their dominance in the series recently. Islanders LW Matt Moulson ($124K) has managed 11 or more fantasy points in four of the past nine games, and he is averaging 11.0 fantasy points per game over his past four outings. Bruins C Gregory Campbell ($77K) popped in a pair of goals in Wednesday’s victory at New Jersey, including a shorthanded marker.

Ottawa Senators at Philadelphia Flyers 7:00pm ET

Senators RW Daniel Alfredsson ($98K) snapped out of his funk with a goal and plus-1 rating Tuesday against Tampa Bay. Still, he has totaled just 27 fantasy points over his past seven games, and it will take a couple more decent games to re-gain the trust of fantasy owners. C Mika Zibanejad ($115K) is slightly more expensive than Alfie, and Zibanejad has managed 10 or more fantasy points in seven of his past nine games. Flyers RW Wayne Simmonds ($131K) has gone cold over the past three games, going scoreless with a minus-2 rating while averaging just 5.3 fantasy points per game during the span. Avoid until he can get back onto the scoresheet.

Carolina Hurricanes at Washington Capitals 7:00pm ET

The Hurricanes have been terrible lately, and the Hurricanes TG ($122K) should be avoided despite an ultra-low and tempting salary. In the last meeting with the Caps, the Hurricanes TG posted minus-16 fantasy points. Not good. Capitals D Mike Green ($141K) has averaged 14.2 fantasy points per game over his past seven outings, including 23 fantasy points in his last meeting against Carolina back on April 2. Hurricanes C Eric Staal ($139K) has gone for six or more fantasy points in eight of his past 10 games, and he is averaging 9.8 fantasy points per game during the span.

Montreal Canadiens at Buffalo Sabres 7:30pm ET (CBC)

Canadiens LW Max Pacioretty ($133K) shook off a lower-body injury to play Tuesday against Washington. He has eight or more fantasy points in five straight games, and six or more fantasy points in each of his past 10 outings. He had seven fantasy points in the last meeting with Buffalo March 23. The Sabres TG ($193K) might be a strong play, as Buffalo is 11-2 in their past 13 meetings against Montreal, and 4-1 in their past five home games against the Canadiens. C Lars Eller ($110K) is averaging 14.7 fantasy points per game over the past three outings.

Pittsburgh Penguins at Tampa Bay Lightning 7:30pm ET (NBCSN)

Penguins RW Jarome Iginla ($110K) is a nice mid-level fantasy option. He has 10 or more fantasy points in two of his past four games, and is averaging a respectable 7.8 fantasy points per contest in his five games since being acquired from the Calgary Flames. Lightning D Matt Carle ($111K) has cooled a bit over the past two games, posting a total of 14 fantasy points. However, over the past six games, he is still averaging 11.8 fantasy points per contest. Penguins D Brooks Orpik ($106K) has 23 total fantasy points over his past two games, thanks to nine hits, seven blocked shots and a plus-4 rating despite no goals or assists.

San Jose Sharks at Detroit Red Wings 7:30pm ET

Red Wings RW Johan Franzen ($113K) is averaging 10.8 fantasy points per game over his past four contests. However, he managed just two fantasy points in his last game Sunday, and he had just one fantasy points in his last meeting with the Sharks March 28. Sharks D Dan Boyle ($108K) is enjoying his best stretch of the season, averaging 10.5 fantasy points per game over his past 10 outings. LW T.J. Galiardi ($82K) is a bargain play, as he has averaged 10.8 fantasy points per game over his past four outings. He also had eight fantasy points in the last meeting with the Red Wings March 28.

Florida Panthers at Winnipeg Jets 8:00pm ET

Panthers rookie C Jonathan Huberdeau ($113K) is heating up again, posting 10 fantasy points in back-to-back games entering play. He also has 10 or more fantasy points in five of the past six, averaging 11.7 fantasy points per game over the impressive span. C Marcel Goc ($94K) has total 27 fantasy points over his past two games, and he is averaging 9.3 fantasy points per game over his past six outings. Jets RW Blake Wheeler ($112K) has totaled 35 fantasy points over his past two outings.

St. Louis Blues at Minnesota Wild 8:00pm ET

Wild D Ryan Suter ($104K) is good for a total of 26 fantasy points over his past two games. He is a solid mid-level play at this salary level despite the fact he had just four fantasy points in his last meeting with the Blues April 1. It’s been a bit of a slow go for RW Jason Pominville, as he transitions from Buffalo to St. Paul. He had a goal, plus-1 rating and 20 fantasy points Sunday against Columbus, but he has four total fantasy points in his other two games with Wild. Still, at this price level, he is a very nice play since he has the chance to break out at any point. Blues C Alexander Steen ($109K) has 10 or more fantasy points in four of his past five games, including 10 fantasy points in the last meeting in Minnesota April 1.

Colorado Avalanche at Los Angeles Kings 10:30pm ET

Avalanche RW P.A. Parenteau ($113K) picked up two assists with a plus-1 rating, snapping a mini-funk which saw him post just two fantasy points in the previous two games. Kings C Jarret Stoll ($89K) has averaged 10.0 fantasy points per game over his past three games, thanks mostly due to his eight SOG, 10 hits and four blocked shots. Kings RW Justin Williams ($137K) had an awful minus-3 fantasy points Tuesday in Dallas, but he still has 12 or more fantasy points in six of the past eight outings.

Atlanta Hawks at Philadelphia 76ers 7:00pm ET

76ers PF/SF Thaddeus Young ($127K) misfired on eight of his nine field goal attempts Tuesday at Brooklyn, finishing with just three points, three rebounds and two assists in 25 minutes. A total of seven fantasy points was not what fantasy owners were bargaining for. He has managed 17 or fewer fantasy points in three of his past four games, so it might be a good idea to go another way until he straightens out his shot. PF Mike Scott ($105K) had a career-high 22 points with six rebounds in 36 minutes last time out, but his playing time and production were up with PF/C Al Horford ($153K) (hamstring) and PF/SF Josh Smith ($158K) (knee) sidelined. Both are expected back, so Scott should be avoided despite the big stat line last time out.

Miami Heat at Washington Wizards 7:00pm ET

Heat PF/SF LeBron James ($231K) (hamstring) has managed 82 fantasy points in his past two games since return from a three-game absence. James has played 30 minutes in each game, and he will play with a minutes cap, but he can still be pretty good. Still, don’t expect him to live up to his huge salary. PF/C Chris Bosh ($142K) (flu) missed Tuesday’s game, and he is considered doubtful to play Wednesday. Wizards C Emeka Okafor ($109K) (shoulder) was able to play 22 minutes Tuesday, hitting just one of his field goal attempts for four points, eight rebounds and a total of 12 fantasy points.

Milwaukee Bucks at Orlando Magic 7:00pm ET

Bucks PG Brandon Jennings ($133K) looks to be back on track. He had 30 points, four assists and three steals in 36 minutes at Miami Tuesday, giving him 31 or more fantasy points in three straight outings. Magic PG Jameer Nelson ($121K) (ankle) is back out of the lineup again, and PG Beno Udrih ($124K) should be used by everyone. He has managed 24 or more fantasy points in six consecutive games, and is a bright spot lately for a bad Orlando club. Magic rookie SF Moe Harkless ($119K) (knee) doesn’t think his knee injury is very serious, but he has been limited to just 3-of-13 shooting over the past two games, and a total of 19 fantasy points. Until he gets back on track, avoid.

Detroit Pistons at Cleveland Cavaliers 7:00pm ET

Cavaliers PG Kyrie Irving ($149K) (shoulder) has been sitting out the second half of home-and-home situations, and that’s exactly what the Cavs face here. He hasn’t been ruled out officially, but it’s probably a good idea to steer clear of him. If Irving sits, PG Shaun Livingston ($73K) would likely slide into the starting five, and he would be a tremendous bargain at this price level. Pistons PG Jose Calderon ($107K) (triceps) has been ruled OUT for Wednesday’s game. PG/SG Rodney Stuckey ($117K) is a solid replacement.

Brooklyn Nets at Boston Celtics 8:00pm ET (ESPN)

Celtics swingman Paul Pierce ($158K) (ankle) will play in this game, and he showed no ill-effects Sunday with 23 fantasy points in 30 minutes. Still, he has just 48 total fantasy points in his past two games played, and might be a bit overpriced at this salary level. After a pair of poor games, Nets PF/C Andray Blatche ($89K) had 25 fantasy points Saturday against Charlotte. Still, he is a bit risky since he had 19 total fantasy points in his previous two outings. Celtics PF/SF Jeff Green ($123K) fell off big-time in Sunday’s game against Washington, posting just 11 fantasy points after a total of 82 fantasy points in his previous two games. He is a big-time high-risk, high-reward player right now.

Phoenix Suns at Dallas Mavericks 8:30pm ET

Mavericks PG Darren Collison ($105K) were rolling right along, posting 20 or more in three games from April 2-5, but he then posted just 12 fantasy points Sunday in Portland. Still, he is a solid mid-level fantasy option. Suns PF/C Luis Scola ($116K) has been tough to figure lately. He had a total of 39 fantasy points in three games from March 30 to April 5, and then exploded for 37 fantasy points Sunday, and 39 fantasy points Tuesday. At this rate, he looks like a nice mid-level bargain again. PG Goran Dragic ($137K) posted 36 fantasy points Tuesday, and he has averaged 30.0 fantasy points per game over his past three.

New Orleans Hornets at Sacramento Kings 10:00pm ET

Hornets PF/C Anthony Davis ($144K) posted 44 fantasy points in Tuesday’s game at L.A. Lakers, and he is averaging 39.0 fantasy points per game over his past three outings. At this price level he is a great addition, as the Kings are the worst defensive team in the NBA. Kings PF/C Chuck Hayes ($70K) was back in action Sunday, and he had 20 fantasy points in 29 minutes against Memphis. PF/C Jason Thompson ($115K) had 74 total fantasy points coming into Sunday’s game in his previous two outings, but he managed just six fantasy points in 19 minutes against Memphis.

Los Angeles Lakers at Portland Trail Blazers 10:00pm ET

Lakers SG Kobe Bryant ($201K) has looked like himself lately, especially Tuesday when he had 49 fantasy points. Kobe finally appears to be over his ankle issue. He has 34 or more fantasy points in each of his past five games, and eight of his past nine. Trail Blazers SG Will Barton ($108K) is getting a chance to show what he can do, and he certainly looked good Sunday against Dallas. He hit seven of his 11 field goals to score 22 points, while also added 13 rebounds, six assists and three steals for 47 fantasy points. Can he do it again? Well, 20-25 fantasy points is more likely, but that’s still not bad. PG Damian Lillard ($127K) has 20 or more fantasy points in six straight outings.

San Antonio Spurs at Denver Nuggets 10:30pm ET (ESPN)

Nuggets SG Evan Fournier ($103K) has managed 27 or more fantasy points in three of his past four games. He should see a slight decrease in production with PG Ty Lawson ($117K) (heel) expected to return. However, Lawson is expected to see his playing time capped at 10-15 minutes, if he plays at all. Spurs SF Kawhi Leonard ($136K) has totaled 82 fantasy points over his past two games, and he has 32 or more fantasy points in each of his past three games played.

Minnesota Timberwolves at Los Angeles Clippers 10:30pm ET

Timberwolves PG Ricky Rubio ($144K) (shoulder) looked to be bothered by his shoulder issue Tuesday at Golden State, as he misfired on all 10 of his field goal attempts. He still managed 16 fantasy points, but it was a far cry from what fantasy owners have come to expect lately. Clippers PF/C DeAndre Jordan ($108K) has totaled 53 fantasy points over his past two outings. SF Caron Butler ($82K) could be a nice, cheap option. He has 48 total fantasy points over his past two games.

Philadelphia Flyers at New York Islanders 7:00pm ET

Flyers RW Jakub Voracek ($129K) was cooled off last time out with just one fantasy point against the Jets Saturday. However, he is still averaging 11.8 fantasy points per game over the past four outings. Speaking of four, that’s how many fantasy points he had in the last meeting with the Islanders March 28. Islanders RW Matt Martin ($114K) continues to show well, posting nine or more fantasy points in four straight games. He is a hit machine normally, but he has really picked it up over the past three games, delivering 21 hits. He had 13 fantasy points in the last meeting with the Flyers, posting an assist with six hits and a pair of shots on goal. LW Matt Read ($96K) has managed 9.7 fantasy points per game over his past six outings. He has seven fantasy points in the last meeting.

Pittsburgh Penguins at Carolina Hurricanes 7:00pm ET

Penguins D Brooks Orpik ($101K) has managed six or more fantasy points in eight consecutive games, thanks mostly due to his hitting ability, and eagerness to jump in front of shots. The Hurricanes have laid an egg lately, but LW Jeff Skinner ($96K) might have had his best game of the season last time out against the Rangers Saturday. He had an assist and eight shots on goal while logging over 23 minutes of TOI. After a couple of hiccups, Penguins RW Pascal Dupuis ($137K) is in a groove. He has 25 fantasy points over his past two games, and 10 or more fantasy points in seven of his past 10.

San Jose Sharks at Columbus Blue Jackets 7:00pm ET

Perhaps it was a relief he wasn’t traded, but Sharks D Dan Boyle ($115K) has turned it up lately. He has eight or more fantasy points in four of his past five games, averaging 10.0 fantasy points per game over the span. Blue Jackets C Artem Anisimov ($89K) has managed 11 or more fantasy points in five of his past nine games, making him a nice sleeper. Sharks LW T.J. Galiardi ($90K) has gone for 11 or more fantasy points in three straight outings, averaging 13.3 fantasy points per game during the span.

Washington Capitals at Montreal Canadiens 7:30pm ET

Canadiens D P.K. Subban ($174K) has gone for 15 or more fantasy points in five of the past six games. He comes with a bit of a high price, but lately he has been well worth it. Capitals C Marcus Johansson ($108K) has gone for 10 or more fantasy points in four of the past five, and six of the past 10 games. He is a nice mid-level pick-up. Capitals RW Troy Brouwer ($118K) has cooled over the past four games, going scoreless with a minus-1 rating and an average of just 4.8 fantasy points during the span. As such, he is way overpriced.

Ottawa Senators at Tampa Bay Lightning 7:30pm ET

Senators C Mika Zibanejad ($125K) has been unreal lately, posting four assists during his current three-game points streak. He has averaged 13.0 fantasy points per game during the three-game run, and he has 10 or more fantasy points in seven of his past eight outings. Lightning D Radko Gudas ($112K) continues to hum along, even when he isn’t scoring. He has six or more fantasy points in five straight, and nine of the past 10, mainly due to his hitting ability. Senators LW Cory Conacher ($98K) returns to Tampa Bay for the first time since being traded at the deadline for G Ben Bishop. Conacher had a goal with a plus-1 rating and 15 fantasy points last time out against the Panthers, and is a nice start since he might have a chip on his shoulder.

Buffalo Sabres at Winnipeg Jets 8:00pm ET

Sabres D Christian Ehrhoff ($106K) has tailed off over the past four games, going scoreless with 14 SOG and a plus-3 rating. He is averaging just 7.0 fantasy points per game during the span. Jets D Zach Bogosian ($94K) has totaled 14 fantasy points over his past three outings.  Sabres RW Steve Ott ($139K) has totaled 55 fantasy points over his past three games. He carries a three-game goal-scoring streak into play, and he has six SOG, 17 hits, three blocked shots and a plus-3 rating during the span.

St. Louis Blues at Nashville Predators 8:00pm ET

Blues C Alexander Steen ($106K) has picked up the pace again, going for 10 or more fantasy points per game over three of his past outings. He has three assists and a plus-2 rating over the span. After showing some promise, D Roman Polak ($95K) has tailed off over the past two games, posting a total of just three fantasy points with one hit, three blocked shots, no PIM and a minus-1 rating. Predators D Shea Weber ($144K) has gone for eight or more fantasy points in five straight games, averaging 13.8 fantasy points per contest over the impressive stretch.

Chicago Blackhawks at Minnesota Wild 8:00pm ET (NBCSN)

Blackhawks rookie LW Brandon Saad ($125K) has gone for 12 or more fantasy points in four of his past five games, posting four goals with two assists and a plus-6 rating during the outstanding stretch. Wild LW Devin Setoguchi ($96K) posted 14 fantasy points in his last outing Sunday against Columbus, his most fantasy production since 15 fantasy points March 25 against Dallas. Blackhawks D Duncan Keith ($100K) has struggled over his past five games, totaling just 21 fantasy points over his past five outings.

Los Angeles Kings at Dallas Stars 8:30pm ET

Stars D Alex Goligoski ($109K) has been hot lately, going for five or more fantasy points in each of his past 10 games. He has 12 or more fantasy points in five of the past nine outings, making him a solid mid-level play. Stars C Jamie Benn ($139K) has 11 or more fantasy points in six of his past nine games. He had a goal with seven hits and 18 fantasy points in the last meeting March 31 against the Kings, and he has 30 total fantasy points in the past two meetings with L.A. Stars D Antoine Roussel ($93K) is averaging a respectable 7.6 fantasy points per game over his past seven outings. However, he has managed a total of just two fantasy points in the past two games against the Kings.
