Daily Joust Badge Tournaments

Now, Badges Qualify Users for new Free-Entry Tournaments

$1000 worth of prizes to be awarded

Jousters, we are kicking off the second half of baseball season with multiple free-entry Badge Tournaments for Jousters with a qualified number of badges to be held in August and September . Here is how it works:

1. We are restarting the badge system July 14 to give everyone a fair start at 0; however, badges will be awarded to winners of the previously held Scarlet Knight and Expert tournaments, and also to Knights of the Round Table Jousters. All other previously awarded badges will be deleted.

2. We are greatly increasing the number and types of badges that can be won. Details are below, and you can also find information and images of each badge on the new Community/Badges tab. http://www.dailyjoust.com/community/badges

3. On August 6th, we will run a $250 Badge Tournament for Jousters with 5 or more badges earned between July 14 and July 31st. On August 20th we will run another $250 Badge Tournament for Jousters with 10 or more badges earned between July 14 and Aug 15. On Sept 3rd we will run a $500 Badge Tournament for the 25 Jousters (including any ties at 25th position) with the most badges ! Affiliates are not eligible for Badge Tournaments.

4. Leaderboards for badges are updated daily at Community/Leaderboards/Badges.

5. All prizes will be in the form of Bonus Bucks, which can be used to enter all cash contests on Daily Joust. Badge tournaments are single entry per user.

6. Some badges can be won multiple times, including for example “Best Lineup of the Day”. Others cannot, see the descriptions below. Some badges are dynamic, like Top 10 Jouster Rating, and these dynamic badges can be lost if a Jouster no longer qualifies.

Here is a description of current badges that can be awarded:

TOP 10 JOUSTER BADGE
Awarded on a nightly basis to any Jouster who is Top 10 in either Winnings or Jouster Rating at the end of a day, good throughout the following day until we do updates and then the badge is dynamically re-awarded. There is a maximum of one Top 10 Jouster Badge per user at a time (even if you are top 10 in both winnings and Jouster Rating).

BEAT TOP 10 JOUSTER BADGE
Any Jouster who beats a Top 10 Jouster in a heads-up cash contest gets a badge for beating that Jouster. Wins over Top 10 Jousters in tournaments or leagues do not earn this badge. There is no maximum number of these badges that a user can win, but Jousters can only win one per specific opponent.

BEST LINEUP OF THE DAY
The Jouster who has the top lineup of the previous day in a cash contest gets a badge, and this badge can be won more than once.

HEADS-UP AND SOLO VICTORY BADGES
First $9 heads-up win
First $20 heads-up win
First $40 heads-up win
First $100 heads-up win
First $200 heads-up win
First $500 heads-up win
First cash Solo contest win

The Heads Up and Solo win badges can only each be won once.

CREATE AND FILL LEAGUE
Jousters who create and fill a cash-contest league can win this badge one time

INVITE FRIEND
Any Jouster can earn this badge each time you invite a friend and he/she signs up on Daily Joust, makes a deposit, and completes a cash contest.

WIN TOURNAMENT
Awarded to the Jouster with the top line-up in each tournament held on Daily Joust. This badge can be won more than once, and includes free-entry tournaments.
Previous winners that will be awarded this badge include:
- Scarlet Knight’s $1000 Jousting Tournament
- Expert Tournament
- King Arthur’s Free-Entry Tournament

STREAK
Awarded for each time a Jouster gets a new streak of 3 or more days of cash wins. This badge can be won multiple times.

IRON KNIGHT STREAK
Awarded for each time a Jouster gets a new streak of 10 or more consecutive days of cash wins. This badge can be won multiple times.

WIN LEAGUE
Awarded the first time a user wins a private or public league. This badge can only be won once.

COMMUNITY SERVICE
Awarded at sole discretion of Daily Joust to select Jousters for community-oriented contributions to the site. The Jouster may be expected to complete 5 or more of the following actions to win the badge. Please contact support@dailyjoust.com if you qualify.

- Adding or voting on Ideas in Community section

BLOG WRITER
Awarded to Jousters when we accept a blog submission from you. This badge can be won multiple times.

FUTILITY
Awarded dynamically to the one user who has the lowest score to date in any cash contest. This badge may be lost if the user is no longer qualified.

TOP KNIGHT
Awarded dynamically to the one user who has the highest current Jouster rating. This badge may be lost if the user is no longer qualified.

KNIGHT OF THE ROUND TABLE
Any Jouster who makes a deposit under the Knights of the Round Table promotion, until it ends

BEST LINEUP OF THE MONTH
The Jouster who has the top lineup of the previous calendar month in a cash contest gets a badge, and can be won more than once.

BEST LINEUP OF THE SEASON
The Jouster who has the top lineup of the previous season in a cash contest gets a badge, and can be won more than once.

MOST WINS OF THE MONTH
The Jouster who has the most cash-contest wins in the previous calendar month. Wins include prizes won in leagues and tournaments as well as solo and heads-up contest victories.

MOST WINS OF THE SEASON
The Jouster who has the most cash-contest wins at the conclusion of the sports season. Wins include prizes won in leagues and tournaments as well as solo and heads-up contest victories.

TOP WINNINGS OF THE MONTH
The Jouster who has the largest amount of cash-contest winnings in the previous calendar month.

TOP WINNINGS OF THE SEASON
The Jouster who has the largest amount of cash-contest winnings at the conclusion of the sports season.
